Recently, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC Central Committee) held a symposium on comprehensively deepening reform and promoting Chinese-style modernization, hearing the views and suggestions of figures who are not members of the CPC Central Committee.
Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, presided over the event and delivered a speech, in which he stressed that the decision to comprehensively deepen reform and promote China-style modernization is aimed at pragmatically realizing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, laying out a roadmap and systematically arranging the comprehensive deepening of reform and systematically ensuring the Second Hundredth Goal.
Representatives of figures outside the CPC expressed their support for the decision of the CPC Central Committee to comprehensively deepen reform and promote China-style modernization, put forward their views and suggestions on enhancing economic vitality, building a new coordinated regional development structure, and promoting the qualitative development of the people, developing a new quality of productivity, deepening health care reform, removing obstacles to talent training, building a financial system commensurate with scientific and technological innovation, promoting cooperation between state-owned and private enterprises, outward-oriented high standards, and integrated development on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.
