Chinese President Xi Jinping has called for all-out efforts to meet the reform targets.
Xi Jinping, who is also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the announcement at the 6th meeting of the Central Commission for Deepening Comprehensive Reform.
It was announced that the third plenary session would be held on 20 October. The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) has adopted comprehensive measures to further deepen reform and more than 300 basic reform measures have been defined.
At the meeting, Xi also stressed that the centralized and unified leadership of the Communist Party of China Central Committee should be adhered to in implementing reforms, and that reforms should be combined with economic and social development.
Since the 18th, the CPC Central Committee of China has established 22 pilot free trade zones, which have led to a number of significant and leading institutional innovations that essentially play the role of test vehicles.
