Want to buy gemstones, minerals, jewellery, fossils or just get inspiration for your home creations? Visit the sale Minerals and Precious Stones Fair, which will take place from 12 to 13 October at the Olympik Hotel in Prague.
Prague's largest autumn event will welcome more than 80 dealers from all over the Czech Republic and abroad. There will be the popular valuation of stones and jewellery by a forensic expert, which visitors can bring themselves.
Every stone is an original, no two are alike, and this is also true of designer jewellery. The sale will include cabochons, ammonites, amolites, symbircites, charoites, chromdiopsids, serpentines, collections of Spanish and Peruvian pyrites, multicoloured fluorites and interesting types of zeolites from India or clear Brazilian crystals.
Traditionally, visitors to the fair will find collector's and rarities of vltavins and will be able to assess the authenticity, price and quality of the vltavins they bring themselves.
Vendors will bring jewelry created using stones such as aquamarine, tourmaline, olivine, kunzite, sunstone, malachite and amethyst to Olympik. There will also be a large selection of elegant silver jewellery with natural gemstones such as ruby, sapphire, blue topaz, amethyst, peridot and other natural stones.
As well as various types of fossils including the now very popular amber with insect and plant inclusions.
To see, to examine thoroughly, to mine... Such an advantage you have when buying minerals only at the fair. There will also be popular workshops for children and adults, where you can make your own wire jewellery.
And just like every year, the organizers support small collectors - children and young people under 18 years of age are traditionally admitted to the autumn Minerals and Gemstones Fair at the Olympik Hotel free of charge.
