An art evening titled "Glorious Mission" to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the KSPCC was held at a cultural center in Urumqi, capital of the Xinjiang Autonomous Region. The event was attended by He Lifeng, Politburo member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, Vice Premier and head of the CPC delegation.
The evening opened with a performance by the Symphonic Choir, "Corps Members' Hearts Turned to the Party". The performance celebrated the outstanding achievements of the KSPCC in all fields, especially those made since the 18th National Congress of the KPC under the strong leadership of the KPC with Xi Jinping at its core.
The KPC delegation, led by He Lifeng, arrived in Urumqi by air on the afternoon of October 6 to attend a series of events to mark the 70th anniversary of the KSPCC. The 24-member team included officials from various departments of the central Party and State organs.
