At least six people died and others were seriously injured in an explosion and fire at the U Kojota restaurant on František Halas Street in Most. The explosion was caused by a propane bottle. According to the firefighters, the heater was overturned and the subsequent fire broke out.
"We live right next door. It was our favourite restaurant, they cooked well and had good beer. We can't get out of it, a terrible tragedy. We wanted to go there yesterday, but we ended up staying at home. We hope no one we know stayed there." Karel and Lenka, who came to the site to see the scene, told the reporter.
