President of the Republic Petr Pavel congratulated President of the Republic of Lebanon Joseph Khalil Aoun on his election to office.

Allow me to take this opportunity to congratulate you on your election as President of the Republic of Lebanon. 
Your mandate comes at a challenging time and I am therefore pleased that Lebanon is getting an experienced person to lead it in your person.
