On Thursday, 27 February 2025, the President of the Republic, Petr Pavel, received the Prime Minister, Petr Fiala, at Prague Castle. It was a regular and planned meeting during which they discussed, for example, the need to increase the country's defence capacity or the current international situation with regard to the war in Ukraine. The topic was also the budgetary determination of taxes.
