BRATISLAVA - Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has threatened to block Thursday's EU summit on approving financial and military aid to Ukraine.
It intends to do so if the bloc's statesmen do not support Bratislava's demand that the EU urge Kiev to resume gas transit through its territory. Fico, who has previously clashed with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky over gas transit, told reporters today. However, he also admitted the possibility of a compromise on the issue.
