PRAGUE - Russian assets worth 300 billion euros are currently frozen in Europe. It is not right for these assets to lie idle while Ukraine continues to fight for freedom. It is right to consider using these assets to rebuild a Ukraine decimated by Russia.
The Russian takes what he wants with a satisfied nod from Trump. That is why we need to look for other ways. There is a high amount of Russian real estate or frozen assets in the Czech Republic. In Prague alone, the Russian Federation owns around forty buildings and plots of land. Ondřej Kolář has previously proposed the reduction of these properties through the institution of expropriation for compensation.
However, I am convinced that these refunds cannot go to Russia, but must go to reparations for Ukraine, as in the case of the European frozen assets. Together in TOP 09, we will continue to promote this proposal.
