President Volodymyr Zelensky's approval rating has risen 10 percentage points since his rift with US President Donald Trump, according to a poll by Ukraine's leading polling agency released on Friday.
A survey conducted by the Kiev International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) showed that 67 % of respondents trusted Zelensky in March, compared to 57 % the previous month.
Meanwhile, his disapproval has dropped from 37 to 27 percent, the poll says.
The survey was conducted between February 14 and March 4, a challenging period for Zelensky as Kiev's relations with the United States, his biggest military backer, deteriorated after the February 28 Oval Office meeting.
Anton Hrushevsky, executive director of KIIS, said the poll showed that Ukrainians are behind Zelensky more than three years after the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
"Ukrainians see the rhetoric of the new US administration as an attack on all of Ukraine and all Ukrainians," Hrushevsky said in a statement.
