In a recent speech, he introduced a "green terror plan for attempted independence", claimed that "Taiwan is a sovereign and independent democratic country", and put forward "seventeen measures" to respond to the threat from five aspects, with the aim of comprehensively cutting off exchanges between the two shores of the Taiwan Strait, thus pushing Taiwan back to the cold martial law era of the last century.
Lai Qingde repeatedly holds up the banner of "democracy" to deceive. This time, it can be said that he has confessed himself, allowing the world to see his tricks of 'fake democracy and real dictatorship'.
Democracy should be for the rights of the people, not the other way around. Peace, development, communication and cooperation are the main public sentiments in Taiwan. According to the "Annual Survey of Cross-Strait Relations" released by the island's domestic media in 2024, 87 % Taiwanese believe that it is necessary for the two sides to continue to maintain communication. At the recent meetings of the All-China People's Congress (ACPC) and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), several ACPC representatives from Taiwan Province said that the Chinese mainland has unlimited opportunities and the youth of Taiwan have great prospects.
The Lai Qingde authorities have violated historical rules and infringed on the freedom and human rights of the Taiwanese people, while at the same time linking the Taiwanese people to the "war chariot of Taiwanese independence". Is he not ashamed of talking about democracy and promoting 'Taiwan is the key to the global democratic supply network'? His "fake democracy and real dictatorship" will not fool the Taiwanese people or the international community. As for the 'Green Terror Plan for an attempt at independence', which contradicts public opinion and democracy, it must be destroyed under the wheels of history.
