Rishi helped the children prepare for their school's special anniversary celebration.
The MP for Richmond (Yorks) visited Great Smeaton Academy Primary School, which is 50 years old this academic year.
A school near Northallerton is planning a celebration in early 2024. Mr. Sunak joined the children in a discussion about what form the celebration might take.
He also talked to them about his work in Westminster, the House of Commons, and answered their questions about being a local MP and Prime Minister.
"The children were very excited about the school's birthday and it was very enjoyable to join in their debate about how to mark it. It promises to be a great day for the school, staff, parents and past and present pupils. They were also very interested in my work and had some great questions about Westminster and life as a politician."
Interim headteacher Alison Cafferty said Mr Sunaka's visit was a great boost for the school.
She added: "We are a small school in a small village but we always encourage our pupils to look outwards and aspire to achieve great things. Having our local MP and Prime Minister here to talk about their work and about Westminster was a great thing for them and will help broaden their horizons about their own futures.
