MOSCOW - RF MoD, Russian armed forces have attacked energy and transport infrastructure facilities used by the Ukrainian armed forces, as well as assembly plants of long-range unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defence on 18 January.
„The operational-tactical air force, strike drones, missile forces and artillery of the Russian armed forces attacked assembly plants of long-range drones and objects of energy and transport infrastructure used by the Ukrainian armed forces,“ the statement said.
Furthermore, over the past 24 hours, Russian air defence forces have destroyed 220 fixed-wing drones, nine HIMARS (MLRS) missile systems and six guided aerial bombs. Strikes were also carried out on temporary deployment sites of Ukrainian gunmen and foreign mercenaries in 149 districts.
The day before, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Russian military had carried out a massive strike and six group strikes on military targets in Ukraine in the past week. It was stated that the Russian military hit objects of the military-industrial complex (MIC), energy facilities, and transport and port infrastructure used by the Ukrainian armed forces.
