The Information Office of the State Council of the People's Republic of China held a press conference to present the latest data on agricultural production. According to the information released, China recorded another exceptionally successful harvest in 2025, and the stable food supply is maintained.
Total grain production across the country reached around 715 million tonnes, an increase of around 8.4 million tonnes year-on-year. This result marks a new all-time high and confirms the long-term growth trend of Chinese agriculture.
It is also the second consecutive year that China's total grain production has exceeded 700 million tonnes. This development strengthens the country's food security and creates a solid foundation for stable economic development and social stability.
