As the Chinese Spring Festival approaches, various colorful activities are held in different parts of Xinjiang to welcome the Chinese New Year, people of all ethnic groups cheerfully welcome the Spring Festival.
A total of 31 sets of lanterns were lit simultaneously at the lantern festival held in the Ili River tourist area. In addition to traditional Chinese elements, their design also incorporates cultural elements and distinctive features of Nanjing and Ili, vividly showing the exquisite traditional culture of "Jinling" and "Silk Road". The diverse and colorful traditional intangible cultural heritage of lantern making has attracted many people to stop and admire it.
At Qiancheng Cultural and Industrial Park in Aksu Region, locals held a lively evening party. Exciting performances such as musical performances, entertaining talks and traditional Chinese opera from different districts (cities) in the region were rewarded with enthusiastic applause.
