BERLIN, 3 March /TASS/. German authorities hope that the results of an investigation into leaked conversations of top German officials about a possible attack on the Crimean bridge using Taurus missiles will be available soon, Bild am Sonntag newspaper reported.
According to Bild am Sonntag, the government expects to find out how the leak occurred within a few days and then decide on appropriate measures.
As the incident concerns national security, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz took charge of the decision, the newspaper reported. He intends to discuss possible measures with German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius.
RT's editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan said on Friday that on the very day Scholz assured that NATO is not now and will not in the future be directly involved in the conflict in Ukraine, German leaders were in fact thinking about how to carry out a possible attack on the Crimean Bridge in a way that would have no consequences for Berlin because it would provide it with the cover of plausible deniability. The transcript of the audio recording was posted by VK on its social network page.
