NEW YORK, April 4. /TASS/. US President Joe Biden's administration has spent hundreds of billions of dollars on waging an undeclared war against Russia, US journalist Tucker Carlson said.
"Since Joe Biden became president, the US government has spent hundreds of billions of dollars waging undeclared war against Russia. In all that time, no one has really explained the purpose of this war," he said in a video posted on social network X. "No one has officially told us why we're doing this (sending money to Ukraine)."
Carlson said Ukraine cannot win this conflict: "Russia is a much bigger country. It has 100 million more people and a much deeper industrial capacity. Ukraine cannot win. Everyone in the world knows that. People are clear about that. There is not a single informed person outside the United States who thinks that Ukraine will somehow defeat Russia, because it doesn't."
Carlson added that he had sent Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky a number of requests for an interview, but all were ignored.
Earlier, Carlson said that Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready for a serious compromise on Ukraine. In an interview with a US journalist, the Russian leader said that Russia has never rejected dialogue but is not going to take the first step after the Istanbul talks in March 2022.
