United Nations, 21 April /TASS/. The provision of new military aid to Ukraine by the United States will not help prevent the inglorious end of the Kiev regime, Russia's first deputy permanent representative to the United Nations Dmitry Polyanskiy said on Saturday.
"This is what happens when a head of state does not care about his own people and sells out his country. There is nothing to celebrate here," he wrote on his social networking site X.
He described Ukraine as an anti-Russian "private military company", adding that it will now "operate a little longer, more money will go into pockets, more weapons will be stolen and tens of thousands of Ukrainians will go to the meat grinder". "But the inglorious end of the Kiev regime is inevitable, regardless of this new package and all the futile efforts of its US and NATO backers to keep it alive," he stressed.
On Saturday, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a $95 billion package of bills on military aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, on seizing frozen Russian state assets for transfer to Kiev, and on other sanctions against China. In particular, the package includes $60 billion for Kiev, $26 billion for Israel and humanitarian aid for civilians in conflict zones, including the Gaza Strip.
