MASHHAD (IRAN), May 23, 2024 (Xinhua) -- People mourn the late Iranian President Ebrahim Raishi at the shrine of Imam Reza in Mashhad, northeastern Iran, May 23, 2024. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, who lost his life along with his entourage in a recent helicopter crash, was laid to his final rest at the shrine of Imam Reza in his hometown of Mashhad in the northeast of the country on Thursday, according to the official IRNA news agency.
