The US Secretary of State will be received by President Petr Pavel at Prague Castle on Thursday afternoon. On the same day, Blinken will also meet his Czech counterpart Jan Lipavský (Pirates), with whom he will sign a memorandum on cooperation in the fight against disinformation at the Czernin Palace. His agenda also includes a meeting with Defence Minister Jana Černochová (ODS), who will show him military equipment and other Czech assistance to Ukraine at the military airport in Kbely.
The informal meeting of North Atlantic Treaty Organisation foreign ministers will take place in Prague on Thursday and Friday. Although no formal conclusions are planned, according to the Foreign Ministry, this will be the largest Alliance event in the Czech Republic since the NATO summit in Prague in 2002. The ministers will also use the Prague meeting for bilateral meetings.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will also arrive in the Czech Republic. On Tuesday, the Castle announced that the President will award him the Order of Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk.
