MOSCOW, 12 June. /TASS/. The Moscow Exchange will not trade the dollar and the euro from June 13, 2024 due to the introduction of restrictive measures by the US. The Moscow Exchange will continue to trade currency and precious metals through all available instruments, except for currency pairs that include the US dollar and the euro. These changes will affect the stock market, the currency market and the market for standardised derivatives; the futures market will operate as usual.
The Moscow Exchange also announced that it will continue to provide its clients with access to all exchange segments under the new conditions.
"The Moscow Exchange Group has all the necessary tools to ensure the continuation of trading in conditions of increased volatility, including discrete auctions and a mechanism to quickly change risk parameters," the exchange said.
