XINING, June 19, 2024 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping, who is also General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, visited a high school in Xining, northwest China's Qinghai Province, on June 18. Xi inspected the province on Tuesday afternoon Qinghai.
During the inspection, Xi visited Guoluo Xining Ethnic High School and Hongjue Tibetan Buddhist Temple in Xining, the provincial capital.
He was informed of local efforts to deepen cooperation in education and to provide adequate support and mutual assistance between the eastern and western regions of China, and to strengthen education in creating a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation.
