Xi Jinping urged to modernise public security work

Chinese President Xi Jinping has called on police forces to support the modernisation of public security work in China.

Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Committee, made the remarks on May 28 during a meeting with police representatives attending a national conference on public security work in Beijing.
