Mr. Alckmin, thank you very much for giving this exclusive interview to China Media Group (CMG). This is your first visit to China since taking office as Vice President of Brazil. I am told that your schedule for your visit to China is very full, including meetings, negotiations, visits and other events. First of all, share with us your feelings about this visit, what do you consider to be the biggest benefits of your visit to China?

Hello! Thank you for inviting me to this interview. I first came to China in 2004 when I was Governor of Sao Paulo State. I came with President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who was the first President of Brazil. I have been to Beijing and Shanghai. Twenty years later, I came to China again as Vice President to attend the plenary meeting of the China-Brazil High-Level Coordination and Cooperation Committee. Today, 20 years later, China has made amazing achievements in various fields. The meeting was very fruitful and the cooperation between Brazil and China has achieved remarkable results.
