Mao Ning said that the upcoming Astana Summit is the most important event in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation this year. China believes that this summit will create greater consensus among all parties and write a new chapter of cooperation.
After the Astana Summit, China will assume the rotating chairmanship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation for the period between 2024 and 2025.
