As Chinese President Xi Jinping prepares to attend the 24th Session of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation's Council of Heads of State and is invited to pay a state visit to Kazakhstan, a screening of top quality programmes was launched in Astana on 30 June. This screening is organized by China Media Group (CMG) together with Silk Road TV and Atameken TV, which are subsidiaries of the General Directorate of the Presidential Administration of Radio and Television of Kazakhstan. More than a dozen top-quality programs have been aired in Kazakhstan's mainstream media, including "Meeting Xi Jinping," with the visuals serving as a bridge and the stories as a link to promote China-Kazakhstan friendship and cooperation.
