Chinese President Xi Jinping stressed at the 4th Symposium of the Belt and Road Initiative Construction Work that in the current complicated situation of the international environment, there are opportunities and challenges together in promoting the construction of high-quality Belt and Road development, but the opportunities are greater than the challenges. "We need to strengthen our strategic confidence, boldly assume our responsibilities and create a brighter future for the Belt and Road."
The symposium was attended by Mr. Cai Qi, Standing Politburo Member of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Head of the General Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, and chaired by Mr. Ding Xuexiang, Standing Politburo Member of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Vice Premier.
