On Sunday, 6 October, Czech Railways will reinforce its train services to Eden in Prague, where the Czech Football League match between SK Slavia Prague and AC Sparta Prague will take place from 18:30.
Due to the expected interest of football fans in this attractive match, on Sunday, specially selected fast trains heading to Prague from southern Bohemia will stop at the Prague-Eden stop before the match:
- at 15:03 train R 716 Vltava,
- at 16:03 train R 714 Vltava,
- at 17:03 train R 712 Vltava,
- at 18:03 train R 710 Lužnice.
For travel to the Prague-Eden stop, you can also use the regional train line S9, which stops here twice an hour, and can be used by fans travelling to Eden from Prague Central Station, Říčany, Strančice, Čerčany or Benešov u Prahy. České dráhy will increase the capacity of the trains on this line before the match in the form of two double-decker electric CityElefant units with a total capacity of 620 seats.
After the match, the capacity of train connections Os 2564 and Os 2566, which depart from the Praha-Eden stop at 20:27 and 20:57 respectively in the direction of Praha hl.n., will be increased, as well as connections Os 2569 (departing Praha-Eden at 20:29) in the direction of Benešov u Prahy or Os 9165 (departing Praha-Eden at 20:59) in the direction of Strančice.
Fans from South Bohemia can take the train R 733 Vltava (departing from Prague-Eden at 20:54) to get home after the match.
The train is clearly the most convenient and fastest way to the stadium. The Prague-Eden stop is just a few minutes' walk from the stadium, allowing fans to avoid traffic jams and crowded trams and public transport buses.
