PRAGUE - Singer and actress Anna Julie Slováčková has died. It was confirmed by her father, musician Felix Slováček. The artist, who battled cancer for several years, died today at the age of 29. She was best known as a musical singer and actress.
Anna Slováčková was the daughter of actress Dagmar Patrasová and saxophonist Felix Slováček. In 2014, she began performing in the musical Snow Queenwhere she played the main character Gerda. It was musicals like Alice in Wonderland or The Pied Piper were her main domain. In addition, she was also a presenter, television actress and singer who performed with the music group Aura.
In 2019, Slováčka was diagnosed with a malignant breast tumour, for which she underwent chemotherapy and surgery. But in September 2023, her disease returned.
