Jiří Mánek, an expert on nature conservation and sustainable tourism, is embarking on a frosty expedition to northeastern China. The destination? The Siberian Tiger and Amur Leopard National Park.
After thirty years of working in the Šumava forests, including managing the Šumava National Park, Mánek headed to the border of Russia and North Korea to track wild beasts in the freezing February. Both nature conservation and the life of the natives in the harsh taiga fascinate him. "I'm looking forward to seeing a tiger for myself," says the man who has visited more than 130 national parks around the world.
Join his adventurous expedition - it's not every day you get the chance to see a tiger in the wild!
