Shen Haixiong said that this year we chose Youth as the theme of the CMG Foreign Video Festival and invited friends from all over the world who love Chinese culture. We use images as a medium and culture as a connection to focus on the vibrant youth and the endless charm of multiculturalism, and to build a communication bridge through language and images. Through this event, we hope more young people from abroad will come to China and experience the real, three-dimensional and comprehensive China in the new era.
Tatiana Valovaya said that today we are all gathered here to appreciate the richness and diversity of world culture. Language is not only a communication tool, but also a bridge to spread knowledge and bring people together. The theme of this year's event is highly in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The United Nations is committed to strengthening youth leadership and making young people active promoters of reform and development. Today, we are once again feeling the magic of the Chinese language and art, and the power it brings.
Chen Xu said that in today's world, where different cultures, races, religions and social systems coexist, people of all countries form a community of destiny. We should view different civilizations from the perspective of equality, tolerance and friendship, treat multiple cultures with an attitude of appreciation and mutual learning, and promote mutual respect and harmonious coexistence among different civilizations. If young people all over the world have ideals and responsibilities, humanity will have a future and the noble cause of peaceful development will have hope. We hope that through this youth-themed event, everyone will feel the eternal charm of Chinese culture that transcends time, space and countries, strengthen understanding and connect minds through cultural bridges, and contribute more youthful wisdom to building a community with a shared future for mankind.
