The largest spring meeting of collectors of postage stamps, coins, banknotes, postcards and other collectors' material will take place from 21 to 22 March at the Olympik Hotel. More than 80 dealers from all over Europe are coming to Prague again this year.
For many of them, Sberatel is the first big event of the season, where they bring "fresh material" after the winter break. The German Post will be among them. At its stand, alongside the German stamps, it will also be possible to buy the commemorative postcard issued for the spring Collector.

The stamp will also be a desirable novelty among collectors nine-block Czech Post with imprint with Jawa 350 OHV motorcycle motif. It will commemorate 90 years since the start of production of the legendary model produced by the Týnec nad Sázavou factory between 1935 and 1946. The depicted type dates back to 1939. Its author is the artist Petr Ptáček, who can be met on the first day of the fair at the Olympik Hotel for a planned autograph session.

The first day of the fair will also see the launch of the new 0 euro souvenir banknotes with the well-known by bus Karosa ŠM11. It is published in cooperation with the Prague Transport Company, which this year celebrates 100 years of continuous bus operation in Prague.

The exhibition "Legends on Collectors' Artifacts" aims to promote collecting, especially among the younger generation. There will be silver coin with action hero Chuck Norris, Medals with Terminator, collectible Rocky banknote officially released Sylvester Stallone or the new Royal British Post Office stamp sheet dedicated to the group AC/DC.

A separate rarity will be the cover of a letter from 1885 with the original signature of the writer Charles Dickenswhich invited to a benefit evening dedicated to the then famous conductor Jules Benedict.

The spring Collector Fair will also launch the sale of a new issue of collector banknotes from the Golden Collection of Václav Zapadlík. The previous one was discontinued after six years last year, the new one, which bears the subtitle "Legendary bodywork" starts this year. The selected cars share a common unusual design and the issue reminds us that Václav Zapadlík was not only a great artist, but also a skilled body designer, whose designs brought back to life many cars that existed only in fragments or in photographs.

The first model of the new series is Aero 50 produced between 1936 and 1941. However, the car shown was modified in the famous Sodomka coachbuilder. Thanks to the extended engine section and low body structure, these cars earned the nickname "Czech Jaguars."
The popular valuation of collections will be held by experts from the Association of Czech Philatelists, the Czech Numismatic Society, the Autograph Collectors Club, the Curiosity Collectors Club and the company Antik Kureš.
"It is a very popular service among visitors. Independent experts can advise not only on the price, but also on the authenticity of the collectible. Many people will thus get a pleasant or unpleasant surprise at the fair," Says Jindřich Jirásek, director of the fair.
The Collector Fair will be held three times again this year. The spring edition will be followed by the autumn Collector at the PVA Expo Prague (5 - 6 September) and the Christmas Collector in November (21 - 22 November), again in Olympik.
Women, children and young people under 18 years of age are traditionally admitted free of charge to all fairs.
