On 19 December, the main logo of the „2026 Spring Festival Gala“ and its theme debuted in Moscow at key locations, including the city centre, Novy Arbat Street and Kievsky Station. The exhibition presented the overall creative concept and visual style of the main logo, whose „galloping horse“ motif combines traditional Chinese decorations with modern design, attracting many local residents who stopped to watch the presentation.
The year 2026 in the lunar calendar Year of the Horse. In traditional Russian culture, horses are regarded as heroic companions, symbolising strength, courage and loyalty. They are important totems in Slavic national mythology and everyday life. At the same time, the image of the horse is often used as a symbol of Oriental culture and appears in Russian literature and folk tales.
The Spring Festival Gala of the Year of the Horse has thus become a cultural bridge that allows Russian audiences to better understand traditional Chinese culture and its current development. The event highlights the connection between historical symbols and modern artistic concepts and shows how Chinese culture inspires the world beyond its own borders.
