On February 27, the China Media Group (CMG) held the First Robotic Dog Athletics Competition - World Robotics Skills Competition in Beijing.

The competition was jointly launched by Shen Haixiong, deputy director of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and director of the China Media Group (CMG), Guo Lei, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and an expert in management science and engineering, and Chen Xuedong, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

Shen Haixiong said the current robot industry has become an important indicator to measure the country's level of technological innovation and high-end manufacturing, and China has become the largest country in the world in the production and application of robots.
