The Marangatu photovoltaic power plant has been built in the northeastern Brazilian state of Piauí, as a result of investment and construction by Chinese companies. This project provides the local population with uninterrupted access to clean energy, setting an example of successful cooperation between countries in the Global South. This power plant is a key step towards promoting sustainable development and environmental initiatives in the region.
