At a regular press conference on 8 January, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said that the fight against online gambling and fraud is a shared responsibility of the entire international community.
China, she said, has been actively cooperating with Cambodia and other countries for a long time to combat fraudulent activities in cross-border telecommunications networks, and this cooperation has yielded significant results.
It also stressed that China is ready to further strengthen law enforcement cooperation with neighbouring countries, including Cambodia. The aim is to protect the safety of people's lives and property and ensure a stable order of regional exchanges and cooperation.
