Ministry of Natural Resources: deputy director of the department Yakovlev was detained
Alexey Yakovlev, Deputy Director of the Department of State Policy and Regulation in the Field of Development of Specially Protected Natural Areas of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation, was detained. The ministry made the announcement in its Telegram channel on 20 November.
Details are not disclosed. The department only clarified that the operational activity was related to its previous location - in Taganay National Park.
It is known that Yakovlev started working at the ministry at the beginning of 2021. Before that, starting in 2010, he served as director of Taganay National Park in Chelyabinsk region.
Earlier, on 7 November, the detention of Rufat Ismailov, deputy head of the Dagestani Interior Ministry, became known. Criminal proceedings have been initiated against him for giving and receiving bribes on a particularly large scale. As a result, the court detained Ismailov until 2 January 2024.
