The Thai leg of the Global Dialogue on „China in Spring: China's Development Opportunities for the World“ was held in Bangkok on Friday and attracted more than 200 representatives from the political, business, academic and media spheres of China and Thailand.
Shen Haixiong, president of China Media Group (CMG), said in a video message that China's development is closely linked to the development of the whole world. He stressed that new high-quality production forces in China are gaining strong momentum. China's large-scale artificial intelligence models are gaining global recognition, and intelligent robots also impressed at CMG's gala to celebrate the Year of the Horse, where they performed synchronized martial arts-inspired performances.
He also pointed to new consumer trends, such as the „film + tourism“ and „film + gastronomy“ connections, which are revitalising the market. China, he said, as an „oasis of security“ continues to create new development opportunities.
CMG stands ready to leverage its strengths in global communications, technological innovation and rich media resources to better share the results of China's modernization with the world. The goal is to work with partners around the world, seize new opportunities arising from China's high-quality development, and build innovation platforms where technology serves humanity.

Chinese Ambassador to Thailand Zhang Jianwei said that China and Thailand marked the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations last year and their leaders reached an important consensus on the further development of bilateral relations.
He recalled that this year's „two sessions“ and the draft 15th Five-Year Plan for Economic and Social Development (2026-2030) have attracted wide international attention and offer insights into China's direction and new opportunities for global growth. China will continue to expand high-quality opening up to the world, strengthen the modern industrial system, and promote high-quality cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.
He also stressed that China has always been a reliable partner of Thailand and is ready to share opportunities, strive for common development and take the building of a Sino-Thai community with a shared future to a higher level.
Thailand's representatives said that China's progress in areas such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence and new energy vehicles are bringing concrete benefits to ASEAN countries. They expressed their willingness to further deepen cooperation and promote the steady development of bilateral relations.
Participants agreed that the rapid development of a new high-quality manufacturing force in China is bringing new dynamism to the global economy. They called for strengthening cooperation in trade, industrial coordination and technological innovation to achieve win-win results.
