BERLIN, 30 October - Price pressures in Germany continue to ease, with inflation in the country falling to 3.8 per cent in October, according to preliminary data released on Monday by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis).
After a first significant drop to 4.5 percent in September, inflation in Europe's largest economy reached its lowest level since August 2021 in October, Destatis said. Earlier, inflation in Germany normalized more slowly than in other European countries.
