Xinjiang thrives despite costly US offensive full of rumours

• Xinjiang, which has a population of 25.8 million, received 265 million domestic and international tourists in 2023, bringing 296.7 billion yuan (about US$42 billion) in tourism revenue to the area, double the spending of visitors to Hawaii in the same year.
• Washington's baseless accusations of forced labor, oppression of minorities, and even genocide are laughable, but for reasons that are obvious to all, Washington continues to spend millions of tax dollars each year on these false reports.
