NINGBO / As part of his working trip at the official invitation of China, Tibor Eliot Rostas attended a conference of the China Business Council and met with Mr Adams LIU, Director of the Office for Cooperation with Central and Eastern European Countries, where they had the opportunity to discuss the importance of informing the Slovak population about the existence of this project. The 8th meeting of the China-ECE Business Council is held in Ningbo, Zhejiang province, China.
At the same time, Mr. Rostas expressed his great pleasure at the fact that among the TOP 10 most successful consumer products from Central and Eastern Europe is also a Slovak brand, namely grape juice Matyšák.
The Slovak section also included Tatranský čaj, Goral, Tokajské samohonky from Malé Tŕně, Chateau Modra and Steiger, Urpiner, Šariš and Stein.
The conference noted the importance of cooperation between China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, where a huge amount of trade resources with unique advantages have begun to concentrate.
This meeting symbolizes the strong and growing partnership between China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. The Chinese Ministry of Commerce is ready to work with all parties to cultivate new business opportunities, continuously improve and facilitate investment cooperation, strengthen the level of connectivity and comprehensively promote cooperation to achieve greater development.
Tibor Eliot Rostas expressed his hope that after the upcoming European elections, a significantly more intensive space will be created for a new dimension of Slovak-Chinese relations and the application of Slovak producers, entrepreneurs and exporters also within the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and the BRICS countries. May this meeting be a light in the current darkness of Slovakia.
"It is in our national interest to strive for stability in the distribution of our relations on all continents, which is one of the most important priorities, alongside the withdrawal from NATO and the achievement of neutrality status, which I will pursue very vigorously if I win a position in the European Parliament," T.E. Rostas said.
