Gas price for the European market is at this year's high, surpassing 41 euros per MWh

AMSTERODAM - The wholesale price of gas for the European market is rising sharply today and is at a high this year. At around 11:15 CET, the price of the key gas futures contract for September delivery at the Title Transfer Facility (TTF) virtual trading hub in the Netherlands was above 41.20 euros per megawatt-hour (MWh), a daily increase of more than two percent. The TTF price is a price determinant for the European gas market.
