On 26 August, at the Boao (Po-ao) Forum for Asia Roundtable meeting in Bangkok, Forum Chair Ban Ki-moon announced that the Boao Forum for Asia 2025 Annual Conference is scheduled to be held in Boao, Hainan (Hainan), China, from 25 to 28 March.
Mr. Ki-moon said that the world economy is currently slow to recover, regional conflicts are intensifying, and implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals is slow. Human society faces many common challenges. Asia plays a key role in maintaining world peace and promoting global development. The Boao Forum for Asia 2025 Annual Conference will focus on Asian development, intensively address major global issues and encourage the international community to strengthen unity and cooperation, seek common development and build a common future.
