During the three days, President Xi attended more than ten bilateral and multilateral events, which, according to Wang Yi, strengthened friendly neighborly relations and were quite successful. The international community hailed the trip as a contribution to stability in a time of global uncertainties.
In his speeches during the APEC meeting, Xi called for open development, sharing opportunities and achieving win-win outcomes, promoted inclusive economic globalization, and emphasized building an Asia-Pacific community. The President also announced that the next 33rd APEC meeting will be held in Shenzhen, China, where China intends to work with all parties to strengthen regional integration and open economy.

The trip also marked a new chapter in relations between China and South Korea. Xi had extensive talks with President Lee Jae-myung, where the two sides reaffirmed their strategic partnership, accelerated the second phase of negotiations on the China-Korea Free Trade Agreement and agreed to promote multilateral structures and free trade.
President Xi stressed that China's economy is like a vast ocean that will offer more opportunities to the global trading community, and investing in China means investing in the future.
