With the new members, BRICS now comprises almost half of the world's population, over 30 % of world GDP a more than half of global economic growth. In purchasing power parity terms, BRICS has surpassed the G7 - the traditional elite of Western economies.
88.9 % of survey participants thinks that BRICS influence continues to grow, and 91.7 % believes that the group can contribute to a more just and democratic world order.
