On October 27, a Special South Africa Global Dialogue Forum on "Innovation, Openness and Shared Development", co-sponsored by China Media Group (CMG), was held in Johannesburg. More than 100 guests from the political, economic, cultural, academic and media spheres of China and South Africa engaged in an in-depth exchange of views on topics such as China's expanding high-level opening to the world and our shared efforts to build a prosperous future.

Shen Haixiong, Vice Chairman of the PR Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and General Manager of CMG, delivered a video speech. Shen Haixiong said that it can be expected that under the guidance of China's new development plan, the door will open even wider and bring the world more opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation. CMG, together with partners, will build a global platform for wisdom sharing and joint consultation, fulfill the "Four Global Initiatives" and share with the world the "China Solutions" of global governance.

At the forum venue, students from South African universities such as the University of Johannesburg, the University of the Witwatersrand and the University of South Africa engaged in a lively discussion with the guests present on the topics of technological innovation, youth development, green transformation and corporate collaboration.
