On 22 July, the China Media Group (CMG) hosted a global dialogue on "Global Opportunities Associated with China's Deepening Reforms in the New Era" in New York.
Video presentations were made by Shen Haixiong, Deputy Minister of the Central Propaganda Department and Director of the CMG, and Xie Feng, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the United States. Also speaking at the event were Robert Kuhn, recipient of the China Friendship Reform Medal and Chairman of the Kuhn Foundation, and Stephen Kennedy, Director of the Kennedy Family Foundation.
Nearly 100 guests from US think tanks, the business sector and academia attended the event to discuss the opportunities presented by further deepening China's reforms and to promote Chinese-style modernization.
