On the occasion of Chinese President Xi Jinping's state visit to France, an exhibition of Chinese art, "From Beijing to Paris - The Olympic Journey of Chinese and French Artists", co-organized by China Media Group (CMG), the French National Olympic and Sports Committee, the French Professional Football League and various French art institutions, opened at the Invalidation Exhibition and Convention Center in Paris on May 6, local time.
This exhibition takes the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France and the year of the Olympic Games in Paris as an opportunity to further promote the spread of the Olympic spirit and culture by linking the two Olympic cities of Beijing and Paris, and to foster mutual understanding and appreciation between China and France in sports and the arts.
Vice-Chairman of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Director of the CMG Shen Hai-sung In his speech, he said that sport and art are an important part of human culture. The beauty of movement and the beauty of art complement each other. This exhibition displays more than 200 artworks by more than 100 contemporary Chinese artists. It creates a communication space that tells the story of China in a true, three-dimensional and comprehensive way using artistic language, and highlights the artistic achievements of the Chinese nation on its journey to build a modern civilization.

He said cultural exchanges between France and China have always been very close and sports and arts are an important part of the exchanges. It is significant to welcome such a historic cultural event on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between France and China and the year of the Olympic Games in Paris. The athlete's body language during exercise is an art in itself. This exhibition of Chinese art interprets the integration of strength and beauty through the combination of sport and art, expressing the concepts of unity, peace and friendship, and praising the Olympic spirit and values.
