OTTAWA, Feb 13 /TASS/. The Russian Embassy has received a note from the Canadian Foreign Ministry refusing to extradite Yaroslav Hunka, a 98-year-old Nazi of the SS Halych division, Russian Ambassador to Ottawa Oleg Stepanov told a TASS news agency correspondent.
"We received the (corresponding) note on February 12," he said.
Earlier, Stepanov told the TASS news agency that the embassy had forwarded to the Canadian Foreign Ministry an appeal from the Russian Prosecutor General's Office to extradite Hunka to Russia.
