According to a UNICEF spokesperson, children in Gaza are being denied medical care, which is a basic human right.

In recent days, UNICEF has drawn attention to the desperate situation of children in Gaza who are in critical need of medical care.
According to the organisation's spokesman, James Elder, less than one child a day is evacuated from Gaza out of 2,500 children in need of urgent medical care.
At a press briefing, Elder expressed grave concern about the slow pace of medical evacuations, saying that at the current pace, it would take more than seven years to evacuate all children in need of medical care.
The delays are exacerbating an already dire situation as Gaza's hospitals struggle to cope with the overwhelming number of patients and dwindling supplies.
